The terms & conditions set out below by Kamber Electrical LTD apply to the supply of goods or services from Kamber Electrical LTD to you the customer, and by ordering, you agree to be bound by them.

When you place an order, it will be treated as an offer by you to purchase. Gentrader Limited reserve the right to accept or not accept any order at our discretion. Dispatch of your goods will signify our acceptance of your order and will constitute a legally binding contract between us the seller and you the purchaser under these terms & conditions.

Pricing and VAT

All Prices shown on the site include VAT unless otherwise stated.

Where VAT is stated as Excluded VAT is added to the sales price during the check out process and is shown prior to payment been made. At any point during the purchase process up to the point of submitting payment you can easily end your purchase with us by simply exiting the page.

VAT is charged at the standard rate of 20%.

A full vat receipt will be posted to you at the time of dispatch and will arrive separately from your goods.

All prices show include delivery for the UK mainland except for some remote area's and parts of the Scottish Highlands

Personal Information Privacy

Please note all payments are processed through Paypal. We do not hold any customer financial information.

Payment Options

Online - You will be able to make payment for your purchase securly either by using your Paypal account or by paying via credit / debit card through our Paypal secure payment system

Over the phone - We are not currently Excepting payment via this method.

You will be able to make a secure credit / debit card payment over the phone by calling 01438 310 198 Payments are taken using our Paypal system and no card details are stored or kept by Kamber Electrical LTD.

Post - You may pay for your order by cheque, however we cannot dispatch any goods until cleared funds arrive in our bank account, therefore an extended delivery time must be anticipated. In order to make a payment by cheque please call us on 01438 310 198 to allow us to send you a pro forma invoice for you to make payment against. Please make cheques Payable to Kamber Electrical LTD.

Bank Transfer - Chaps or Bacs payments are accepted. In order to make your payment by bank transfer please call us on 01438 310 198 or E-mail paul@kamberpower.co.uk to allow us to send you a pro forma invoice for you to make payment against. Our pro forma invoice will contain all payment instructions required.

Deliveries / Shipping

Kamber Electrical LTD understands that a quick efficient delivery is expected by all of our customers and most goods are dispatched on a 3 working day service. However when placing your order please allow between 3–5 working days for your delivery. The carriers used byKamber Electrical LTD unfortunately don't offer a guaranteed delivery date, we will however do our best to quote a date as accurately as possible.

If you have ordered an item which is unlikely to be with you within 7 working days you will be informed either by telephone or email within 24hrs of placing the order, at which point you will have the choice of a full refund, be advised the date of delivery or be offered the opportunity to discuss a suitable alternative with our sales team.

Please note our free delivery service applies to Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm. Free delivery is not available in the Scottish highlands, Islands or N Ireland and Republic of Ireland there is an extra charge for these areas of the UK. Before noon deliveries or before 10.30am deliveries are sometimes available. Such services are however chargeable. Prices will vary from item to item therefore please call 01438 310 198 or E-mail paul@kamberpower.co.uk

If you are not at home when the courier attempts delivery, the driver will leave you a card with details of how to collect the generator from the closet depot or how to arrange a more convenient delivery slot.

Availability

Whilst Kamber Electrical LTD endeavor to hold sufficient stock to meet all our orders. We cannot be held responsible or offer any compensation for any disappointment endured if we fail to meet our designated delivery time. All orders are subject to availability.

If we are unable to deliver within our specified time we will contact you to inform you. We will try to arrange a alternative time that is suitable to you. If this is not acceptable, you have the option to cancel your order, and you will receive a full refund.

Inspection / refusing of goods

When your goods arrive Kamber Electrical LTD advise that you check that the items are in good condition and the quantity of items received corresponds to the quantity you are signing for. Although you are not legally required to do so and it doesn't affect your statutory rights. The risk in goods does not pass to the consumer until they have had reasonable time to inspect them. In the unlikely event that your goods have been damaged in transit, if possible refuse the delivery and contact our sales team immediately in order that we may dispatch a replacement quickly and minimise your inconvenience.

Please inform us as soon as possible of any shortages so that we may take the matter up with our couriers and trace the missing items.

Kamber Electrical LTD will not be held liable for any consequential losses; damages or expenses incurred by you the purchaser or any third party arising directly or indirectly out of late or non-delivery of your order or part thereof.

Title and risk in the goods shall pass to you the purchaser once you have had reasonable time to inspect the goods.

Returns / Cancellations /Problems/ Cooling Off Period

All returns / cancellations need to be arranged in writing by E-mailing paul@kamberpower.co.uk or by writing to us at our postal address (see our contacts page). All return requests must be acknowledged by Kamber Electrical LTD, non authorised returns will not be accepted.

You have the right to cancel your order any time within seven 7 working days, this begins on the day after you received the goods. We will refund the price of the goods in full and will reimburse you for the delivery costs you paid except where items have been used or where special arrangements have been made for delivery such as a HI-AB, assisted offloading or out of normal hours delivery. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. If a refund is payable to you we will process the refund as soon as possible, and, in any case within the statutory thirty 30 days of the day you give written notice of cancellation. Any items that are returned by you are wholly your responsibility while they are in transit.

Kamber Electrical LTD reserve the right to refuse a refund if the goods are found to have been used, misused or badly packaged on return.

Before collection or sending goods ensure that they are unused & returned in their original packaging with all relevant paperwork and manuals . Please note Petrol & diesel powered products must have their fuel and oil removed.

You may cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch by phone or email quoting your order no. If the goods have been dispatched then the customer is responsible for the cost of the return of the goods, unless otherwise agreed.

Returning Unsuitable Items

You may return unsuitable items, at your expense, within 7 days of invoice provided:

They are unused, with all manuals/ documentation, and in their original, undamaged packaging.

Faulty Goods and Warranty

All goods supplied by Kamber Electrical LTD are covered by a full manufacturer’s warranty. Please refer to your owner’s manual for confirmation of your warranty period.

For faults discovered on delivery please report these by calling 01438 310 198 or email paul@kamberpower.co.uk where we will offer further advice. In the event that an item is collected due to a fault the goods will be inspected in our workshop and repaired or replaced within a reasonable time frame.

Any item found not to be faulty will be subject to a charge. Charges are item specific and available on request. You will be notified of any charges before any non-faulty goods are returned to you. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If you have to hire a machine whilst your equipment is being repaired, neither Kamber Electrical LTD , nor the manufacturer of your equipment are liable, or will compensate for any hire charges that you may incur.

It is the customer’s responsibility to transport the equipment to us and you will liable for any carriage charges if you have to ship your item via carrier to us, or back to the manufacturer, or their appointed dealer, or agent for repair.

We are a UK only supply company and we cannot offer warranty assistance to machines that customers have exported to foreign countries. Any problems would have to be dealt with by the relevant manufacturer's service dealer within that country or the machine will need to be returned to the UK at the customers expense for repairs by a UK dealer. Return carriage would be at customers expense.

Please be advised that most fuel related problems are not covered under warranty. This type of repair will be chargeable.

You must keep all boxes or pallets for up to 14 days after delivery. Failure to do this will incur a charge to supply and deliver a replacement.

Cancellation By Us

Kamber Electrical LTD reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:

Kamber Electrical LTD have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered, or

Kamber Electrical LTD do not deliver to your area, or One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our supplier.

If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by email and will re-credit your account any sum deducted by us in relation to the order. We are not obliged to offer any compensation for disappointment suffered.

Availability and Refunds
